The Tour de France 2024 will start in Italy after 120 years.
The first stage from Florence to Rimini is a tribute to Gino Bartali, the second from Cesenatico to Bologna is dedicated to Marco Pantani. The third stage from Piacenza to Turin will go through Alessandria, Asti, and Cuneo. The Grande Boucle will end under the Mole Antonelliana on 1 July, with a restart from Pinerolo the following day in the direction of France.
