Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June sees the return of Turin Coffee, the coffee fair that for two days will make Turin the capital of black gold. The pandemic has prevented us from doing so for years, but now it is time to return to the bars, the places where the ancient ritual of coffee has always been consumed in Italy. Espresso, macchiato, long, short. It doesn't matter the format, what matters is that the dimension of the bar once again becomes the protagonist of our daily lives. Here comes Turin Coffee 2022, the first edition after the emergency, the edition of rebirth and the future.
Turin "en plein air". Our beautiful blue sky as a roof, the city's most regal square as a backdrop. Why shut ourselves up in some exhibition centre when we have so much beauty all around us? After all, haven't we closed ourselves off enough already?
Piazza San Carlo is preparing to host Turin's fifth Salone del Caffè and intends to do so with care. The roasting companies and partners will be able to host the public in their stands, equipped with everything needed to taste and talk about coffee.
In the meantime, a large stage will host cultural appointments, thematic islands, master classes, latte art competitions, cooking and cocktail shows and interviews with the great coffee personalities, which can be watched free of charge by the public.
